Believing in even the possibility of a happy ending is a very powerful thing.




Meet Mary Margaret Blanchard.

She’s a charitable, sensitive elementary school teacher in Storybrooke, Maine.

Though she wears a brave face for the world, she is lonely, insecure, self-punishing, pride-less, (up until this point) unquestioning, and fearful. What's more, she has been put in the position of taking care of other people's children while all she wants is true love, marriage, and a family of her own. She seems all but incapable of making herself happy.






What Mary Margaret does not know could fill a book. A large, leather one, embossed with gold letters.

Once Upon a Time, in a world far far away, she was Snow White: beautiful, fierce, pure of heart. But an evil spell brought her, and everyone she loved, to the real world, with no memories of their previous life. She is, in truth, an amalgamation of everything The Evil Queen would want her to be. But there is a loop-hole in The Curse: Mary Margaret knows there is such a thing as hope, and while it is just beyond her reach, she has faith it will some day become attainable.
